About

About Color Guam Color Guam was established in 2015. Local Artist Taliea Strohmeyer, reproduced original works of art into affordable open edition prints to be sold in Guam’s local market. In 2015,  Strohmeyer and her husband Tom, produced Guam’s first interactive coloring book called “Explore, Learn & Color Guam” featuring the islands historical sites & popular spots in print and audio – translated in English, Chamorro and Japanese. At the same time she started offering ceramic and glass painting sessions at the former Guma’ Tasa located in Mangilao. Due to the high demand in her customers’ desire to paint on canvas that was affordable, she offered her first canvas painting event at Port of Mocha in February of 2016. The event was packed and it continued to draw locals and visitors.

In July of 2016, Color Guam moved from having painting events in coffee shops into a permanent studio in Guam’s capitol, Hagåtña. With over 1,300 sq ft in. of open space, Color Guam can hold paint parties, fundraisers, private lessons and it’s signature painting event.

IF you do, please give me some info. My kids are 9 and 6 by then.

  3. Do you offer private art classes? My wife is interested and I would like to surprise her for Christmas with lessons. Thank you!

  4. Hafa Adai,

    Do you offer pottery classes?

  5. Hafa adai Ms Strohmeyer! I work for PEP (Parents Empowering Parents of Children with Disabilities), and currently looking for activities that can facilitate a parent-child relationship and communication building activities. We have a mixed group of children – those with certain disabilities and those who do not, since Inclusion is another target goal of our events. May I ask if you would be willing to teach our parents and their children how to paint, and how much will you charge. The children will be ages 8 and below. The date we have in mind is October 12.

Thank you very much for reading! Greatly looking forward to your favorable consideration of this request.
